Chris Bacigalupo is the founder of WOLF. With nearly 30 years of experience, he provides senior-level scientific advice to industry, regulators, and legal counsel in toxicology and human health risk assessment. Beginning his career in 1996, he has developed and applied deterministic and probabilistic multimedia exposure and risk assessment models to support informed, defensible decisions related to human and environmental health.
His work includes the development and critical evaluation of risk assessment approaches, models, and health-based criteria as well as leadership on large-scale, multimedia human health risk assessments across Canada and internationally. A core focus of his practice is the derivation, interpretation, and application of effects-based standards, guidelines and toxicity reference values designed to protect human health. In addition to conducting human health risk assessments as it applies to various industries, Chris routinely provides toxicological expertise, scientific peer review, and expert opinions related human and environmental health issues.
